Gangadhar Iyer

I am Gangadhar Iyer and I operate out of my place in Goregaon West. The address is 503 Mercury, which is part of the Vasant Galaxy complex in the C W wing. Living and working in a high-rise in Mumbai is different from having a shop on the street. It is a bit more private but you still deal with the same daily hurdles. The elevators can be slow in the mornings and there is always some construction noise from the neighboring buildings. I use one of the rooms as my main workspace. It has a view of the other towers and a bit of the road below. Vasant Galaxy is a busy society with a lot of families, so there is always movement in the hallways. I have my computer, my books, and my files all set up in a way that makes sense to me. It might look a bit cluttered to someone else, but I know where everything is. My days are spent mostly on calls or working through documents. Sometimes I go down to the local shops in Goregaon West to clear my head and get a snack. It is a good neighborhood, even if the traffic nearby is a mess most of the time. Being based here in Mercury building works for me. It is not a corporate headquarters, just a man doing his job from home in a space that feels comfortable and lived-in for several years now.
