Gajendra Bhati

If you go to Andheri West, over at Nagdevi, you will find me, Gajendra Bhati, at Flat No 301 on the 3rd floor of Laxmi S. It is a bit of a climb if the lift is acting up, which happens sometimes. My workspace is inside the flat, which makes it feel a lot more personal than a standard office building. I have lived and worked in Andheri for a long time, so I have seen it grow and change quite a bit. Inside 301, I have got my desk set up by the window so I can see what is happening on the street below. It is usually pretty noisy with all the traffic, but I do not mind it. It makes me feel like I am part of the city. I do a lot of my work on my own, though friends occasionally stop by to help out or just grab a coffee. I do not have any big signs or posters. Most of my visitors are people who have known me for years or were told about me by someone else. It is a very relaxed environment. I wear my slippers while I work and keep a radio playing in the background. I like the independence of working from Laxmi S. It is not a corporate life, but it is my life and it suits me just fine. I just take things one day at a time.
