Gajanan Pednekar

I am Gajanan Pednekar and I stay and work in Dahisar East. My place is in the Shree Suryodaya building, specifically G/704. Rawalpada is the local name for the area. It is a typical Mumbai residential spot where a lot of us also manage our small businesses. I have been in this building for many years, so I know almost everyone in the society. The office is really just a part of where I live, filled with my books, my computer, and whatever projects I am currently working on. It is not a place with a lobby or a receptionist. You just come up to the seventh floor and knock on the door. Dahisar can feel a bit far for some people, but it is a good community. I handle all my own paperwork and phone calls. Sometimes the building is noisy with kids playing outside or someone doing renovations, but I don't mind it. It feels like real life. I don't believe in using big corporate slogans to get attention. I just do my work and let people decide for themselves. The view from the window is mostly other buildings and the busy streets below. I spend my evenings catching up on things I missed during the day. It is a simple, honest way to live and work in Mumbai without all the extra stress. My neighbors are nice and the local shops are just a short walk away. It’s a good life.
