Gadkari Builders Associates

We've been over here at Govandi East for a while now. The office is on 10th D Cross, number 213, if you're looking for it. It’s not a fancy place, just where we handle the paperwork for the building projects. Mostly we’re out on sites, so the chairs in here usually stay empty until the evening. We deal with construction, trying to get things finished when we say we will. Sometimes things get delayed, you know how it is with supplies and the weather, but we just keep at it. My cousin helps out with the accounts and I mostly talk to the crew. It gets pretty loud around here during the day with all the traffic. We’ve done a few houses in the neighborhood and some bigger stuff too. People usually just walk in because they saw the sign out front. We don’t really do much advertising. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking on cement orders. Sometimes we have tea together in the afternoon when the heat gets too much. There’s a lot of dust involved in this line of work, so my desk is always a mess. We just try to build things that won’t fall apart and keep the neighbors from complaining too much about the noise. It’s basic work, really. Nothing too complicated, just brick and mortar. If you pass by 10th D Cross, you'll see our board. We’re usually around unless we had to run to the municipality office again.
