You can find G S Doot Co in Bandra East, Mumbai. We are in Room No 16 on the second floor of the Bismillah Building on Akmarg. Bandra East is a different world compared to the West side; it’s a bit more crowded and has a very specific local energy. Our office is up a flight of stairs that can be a bit narrow, so you have to watch your step. Once you get to the second floor, we’re right there. The room is small and we’ve crammed a lot into it. There are files everywhere and a couple of old desks where we sit to do our work. It can get pretty hot in the afternoons, even with the window open, but we’re used to the Mumbai weather. The Bismillah Building is an older structure, so it has its quirks, like the occasional plumbing issue or a flickering light in the hallway. We don’t mind it much. We know most of the other people working in the building, and there’s a sense of community among the small businesses here. We don't have a big marketing budget or a fancy entrance. We just focus on our daily tasks and try to stay on top of everything. People usually come to us because they know someone who worked with us before. It’s a modest way to run a company, but it works for us here in Bandra.
