G. G. Engineers

G. G. Engineers has been running out of Unit A/2 in the Kbm Compound for a good while now. It’s right across from Ashok Nagar on Military Road, which is usually quite a busy spot in Marol. If you know Andheri East, you know how the traffic gets around here, but we manage. We spend our days mostly working on engineering bits and pieces that people need. It isn't a fancy office with big glass windows or anything like that. It’s a proper workshop where we get our hands dirty. Sometimes the noise from the road gets inside, but we’re used to it. We just focus on the machines and the drawings in front of us. Most of the guys here have been with us for years. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in Mumbai, just a reliable shop where people can come and get their stuff sorted without too much fuss. Sometimes we have a lot of work piled up, and other days it’s a bit quieter, but we keep at it. The tea guy comes around twice a day, and that’s when we take a small break. It’s just regular work for us, making sure the parts are right and the client is okay with what we did. We’ve seen this area change a lot over time, but the compound stays pretty much the same. It is a humble place, but it’s home for the business.
