You can find G B Laddha Co at Room Number 28 in Masjid Chawl. It’s located on Afsar Gali in the Golibar area of Santacruz East. Being in Mumbai 400055 means there is never a quiet moment outside our door. The chawl is always full of life and shouting and noise. Our room is actually quite small, so we have to be very organized with how we keep our things. We have a couple of tables and some chairs that have seen better days for sure. There are stacks of files almost reaching the ceiling in some of the corners. We don’t have an air conditioner, so the ceiling fan is always running as fast as it can go to keep us cool. It’s a very humble setup. We don't have any fancy marketing materials or a glossy brochure to show people who visit. When someone comes to see us, we just sit down and talk in this small space. Most of our work is done on paper or on the one old computer we have. We’ve been here long enough that the neighbors all know us by name. It’s a tight-knit community in this part of Santacruz. We don't try to look like a big company because we definitely aren't one. We are just a small outfit doing our daily tasks. The walk from the main road to Afsar Gali can be a bit crowded, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We keep regular hours and usually close up once the sun goes down. It’s just how we do things.
