We are located over in Bandra West, right on 16th Road at Pali Darshan. Being in the KHB Colony area near the 1st Stage means there is always something going on outside, whether it is people walking their dogs or just the general buzz of the neighborhood. Our space is basically just a giant storage room for books and papers at this point. There are boxes stacked in the hallway and on top of the cabinets, which makes moving around a bit of a challenge sometimes. We have got an old wooden desk near the window that everyone fights over because the light is better there. It is a bit humid in the summer, and the fans never seem to move fast enough, but we manage. Most days involve a lot of checking lists and making sure the deliveries are going where they should. We are not the type to wear suits or have formal meetings; we usually just chat about the day’s tasks over a cup of tea. There is a specific creak in the floorboards near the 5th Main entrance that lets us know when someone is coming in. It is a bit cramped and definitely not a modern showroom, but it is where we do our business. We have been here long enough that we know all the local shopkeepers by name. It is just a regular part of the Bandra landscape for us now.
