Freedom Fire

Freedom Fire is located at Shop No. 6 on K A Road in Sakinaka. We are in the building at Plot No. 3 4, not far from the Jain Mandir. If you know Andheri East, you know how the traffic can be, but our spot is fairly easy to find once you get into the rhythm of the street. We spend our days dealing with fire safety equipment, mostly extinguishers and hoses. It is a messy job sometimes, especially when we are checking the pressure or refilling things. The shop is filled with red canisters and rolls of heavy tubing. Being near the temple means there are always people walking by, and we often have locals stopping in to ask questions about their home safety. We don't have a flashy showroom; it’s just a workspace where we get the equipment ready. We’ve been here in Sakinaka for some time and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The heat in the shop can get a bit much during the summer, but we keep the fans going and stay busy. It’s important work, even if it’s mostly just making sure valves aren't stuck and dates haven't expired. We just keep our heads down and handle the equipment as it comes in. There’s usually a truck parked out front loading or unloading something for a local building. We work until late evening most days, making sure all the orders for the day are finished and the shop is ready for tomorrow.
