Flamboyante Restaurant

We’re located over at Shop Number 7 on the ground floor of the World Trade Centre Arcade. If you know Cuffe Parade, you know the vibe around here. It gets busy during the middle of the day with people working in the offices around Colaba. We opened up here because we liked the spot. It’s right there in the arcade where folks walk by every day. Sometimes it feels like we know half the people who walk through the doors just by their faces. Working in a place like the World Trade Centre means there’s always something happening. You see people coming in for quick lunches or staying a bit longer when the weather gets too hot outside. The floor gets a bit scuffed up and we’re constantly moving chairs around to make room. Mumbai is a fast city, but in this corner of the arcade, things feel a little more steady. We spend a lot of time just getting the tables set and making sure the kitchen is ready before the first person walks in. It isn't a fancy setup, just a regular place where we show up and do our jobs. Most of us have been here long enough that we don't even need the map of the building anymore. We just keep things running as they are. Nothing too complicated about it. We’re just here every day from morning till the lights go out.
