Filmatic Systems

Filmatic Systems is located over at A2/6 in the Kothari Compound, which is part of the 5 Acre area in Chitalsar, Manpada. If you are familiar with Thane West, you probably know the compound; it’s a big place with lots of different small businesses and workshops running side by side. We’ve been in this unit for a good bit of time. It’s an industrial sort of setting, so there’s always the sound of machinery or tools coming from one of the neighboring units. We work on various systems and mechanical parts here. The space is filled with workbenches, parts, and the tools we need for the day. It’s not a shiny showroom, it’s a workshop where things actually get built and fixed. We usually have the big front door open to let some air in while we work. The guys on the team are good with their hands and don’t mind getting some grease on them. We take our breaks together and talk about whatever is happening in Thane. Traffic on the Ghodbunder Road can be a nightmare sometimes, so getting to the compound in the morning takes a bit of patience. We just focus on the technical side of things and try to get the orders out on time. It is a straightforward operation without any big corporate layers. We just like building things that work and keeping the shop running smoothly every day.
