Feuerschutz The Fire People

Down at Tc-1408, Upavan, in Upper Govind Nagar, you’ll find us working away. We are Feuerschutz The Fire People. It’s a bit of a mouthful of a name, but it fits what we do. Malad (E) is where we’ve set up shop, right on Chincholi Phatak Road. The traffic around here can be a bit much sometimes, especially during the rains. We handle fire safety gear and systems. It isn't the most glamorous job but it is important to the people who need it. The office is tucked away in the building and we’ve got rows of extinguishers and parts everywhere. We aren't big on flashy advertisements. Most people find us because they live nearby or heard about us from a neighbor. We have a small crew. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the jobs for the day. It gets dusty with all the equipment around, but we manage. Some days are spent out on sites, others we are just here checking inventory. We’ve been at this location for a good bit now. Everyone knows the spot near the Phatak. We keep our tools ready and the doors open. It’s just honest work, day in and day out. We don't use fancy words to describe what we do. We just make sure the gear works when it should. That’s about it for us. We just keep our heads down and do the job as best we can.
