Fashion Dress Designing

We are located down at Malad West, right on the Sai Nagar Madh Jetty Road. It’s a bit of a trek for some, but being near the jetty gives the area a different vibe compared to the rest of the city. Fashion Dress Designing is our small workshop. We spend our days measuring, cutting, and stitching. The air is often salty from the nearby water, and we get a decent breeze most afternoons. Our setup is pretty basic—just some sturdy tables, sewing machines, and shelves full of patterns. It’s a hands-on kind of place. We don’t have a manager or a marketing team. We just take the fabric and turn it into something someone can wear. The road outside can get busy with people headed to the ferry, so we see a lot of different faces. We’ve been in this spot for a while now and the locals know us. Sometimes someone will bring in a dress that needs fixing, or they want something completely new made from scratch. We take our time with the work because that’s the only way to do it right. It’s not a fast-fashion kind of place. We like the quiet rhythm of the machines and the satisfaction of finishing a piece. It’s a simple life here by the jetty road, and we wouldn't have it any other way. We just keep working away while the world goes by outside the window.
