Fashion Buzz

We've been here at Cumballa Hill for a while now, right behind the P M T bus stand. Our shop is number 2 in the Swarup Building. It’s a busy spot with people coming and going from the buses all day. Sometimes the noise is a lot, but we like being in the middle of it. We deal with clothes and fashion stuff. It’s mostly just us working here, sorting through stock and helping whoever walks in. The shop isn't huge, but we make it work. Most days start with us opening up early and checking what came in the previous evening. People from the neighborhood stop by, some just to say hello or ask for directions because of the bus stand. We try to keep things simple. If someone needs something for an event or just everyday wear, we show them what's on the racks. It gets a bit crowded when a few people are in at once since it’s just Shop No 2. We’ve seen the area change over the years, but the bus stand is always the same landmark for finding us. It’s not a fancy setup, just a regular place where we spend our time working. We don't really do big ads or anything like that. People just know where we are. We keep the hangers full and the floor swept. It’s a job we enjoy, even when it gets hectic in the afternoons. It feels good to be a part of the local street and see the regulars.
