Faiz Mulla

My name is Faiz Mulla and I am located over in the Powai area of Mumbai. Specifically, I am in the Nahar Amrit Shakti complex, which is a pretty big place with a lot of different wings. My flat is G-503 in the Magnolia building. Living and working in Powai is different from the rest of the city because it feels a bit more planned and quiet, though it is still Mumbai, so there is always some buzz. Magnolia is one of the taller buildings, and being on the fifth floor gives me a bit of a view of the surrounding greenery within the complex. I have set up my office right here in the living room. It is a comfortable space where I can focus without too many distractions. I do not have a storefront or a big office sign. Most of what I do is handled over the phone or on my laptop. The Nahar area has everything—shops, cafes, and places to walk—so I do not really have to leave the complex much if I am busy. I am just one person running my own show from home. It is a bit of a mix of being professional and being casual. Sometimes I am working in my pajamas if it is an early start. I do not think you need a fancy office to do good work. As long as you have a good connection and a quiet corner, you can get a lot done. That is how I have been doing things lately.
