Our place, Exhibit Minds India, is located in Andheri East. We are right by Mitra Mandal Chawk, which is a very busy junction if you know the area. The Lucky Hotel is the main landmark we tell everyone to look for because it’s so close to us. It’s a high-energy part of Mumbai to be in. Every day there’s some noise or something happening right outside. We work on various exhibits and setups, which means there’s often a lot of physical stuff moving in and out of our space. Sometimes things are a bit cluttered with materials and equipment, but that’s just the nature of what we do. It isn't always organized like a showroom. We might have bags, frames, or prints leaning against the walls while we get ready for a project. The staff here is used to the fast pace of Andheri. We don’t have any polished corporate lines to tell you. We just focus on getting the bits and pieces together. Most of us have been around this neighborhood for years. We know where to get the best snacks nearby and which shortcuts to take when the traffic at the Chawk gets backed up. It's a lot of sweating and heavy lifting sometimes, but we keep at it. We are just a group of people working hard near the hotel and trying to get things done right without too much fuss.
