Excel Synthetics

Excel Synthetics is based right on Juhu Church Road in Mumbai. We’re on the first floor of the Santushti building. Being in Juhu means there’s always a lot of activity around us, which is typical for this part of the city. We work with synthetic materials, which involves a lot of samples and talking to manufacturers. The office isn't very big, but it’s enough for what we need to do. It gets a bit crowded when we have a lot of stock coming in or going out. Mumbai life is fast, and we try to keep up with it as best as we can. We’ve been in this building for some time now. Some of us take the train and then a rickshaw to get here every morning. It’s a bit of a commute, but we’re used to it. We don't have any corporate slogans or anything like that. We just come in, do the work, and deal with the challenges as they come up. Synthetic products are used in so many things, so there’s always a demand, which keeps us on our toes. Sometimes we walk down towards the beach during lunch just to get some air. Santushti is a well-known spot, so it makes it easy for people to find us. We’re just a bunch of people working hard in the middle of a very busy city, trying to make things work one day at a time without much fuss.
