Our office is situated in the Fort area, specifically at Patelwadim on the third floor. We are in the right wing of the K K Cham building. If you’ve ever been to Fort, you know these old buildings have a lot of character, even if the elevators are a bit slow or the hallways are a bit dim. Being on the third floor means we get a little bit away from the street noise, but the sounds of Mumbai still find their way up here. We are Euro Asia Consulting, and we’ve been operating from this wing for some time. The office is full of files and old notebooks. It’s the kind of place where the desks are pushed close together because space is tight. We do a lot of talking on the phone and looking at papers. Lunch usually comes in a dabba, and we all sit around trying to find a clear spot on a desk to eat. The air conditioning works most of the time, which is a blessing in the humid months. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. You just walk in and you’re right in the middle of where the work happens. It’s busy and sometimes a little messy, but it’s how we like it. We focus on the consulting side of things without any extra fluff. It’s just a bunch of us trying to get through the daily workload in the heart of the city.
