Our office and workspace is at 6, Kurla Industrial Estate. It’s tucked away in Narayan Nagar, specifically in Ghatkopar West. If you know this part of Mumbai, you know how busy the industrial estates get. Eskay Dyestuffs & Organic Chemicals Pvt Ltd has been here for quite some time. The building is number six. It’s not a modern glass building. It’s an old-school industrial unit with high ceilings and a lot of concrete. We deal with organic chemicals and dyes, so there is always a certain smell in the air. It’s not bad, just part of the job. Most of us have been working at Eskay Dyestuffs & Organic Chemicals Pvt Ltd for years. We know the neighbors and the delivery drivers. The Kurla Industrial Estate is a loud place during the day. We have our desks on one side and the storage on the other. It gets a bit hot in the summer, but we have some fans. We don’t do much advertising. People who need us usually find us through word of mouth or because they’ve been coming to Narayan Nagar for years. We just try to get the orders out on time. There isn't any secret to it. We just show up and do what needs doing. Ghatkopar is a good place to be based, even with the traffic and the noise from the street.
