Eshani Embroidery

We are Eshani Embroidery and you can find us at Sayaji Market in Dharavi, right along National Highway 8. Our unit is at Gala No 39, near the East India Tannery. It is a busy area with a lot of noise and people moving around all the time. Inside our space, there is always the sound of machines and work being done on different fabrics. Embroidery takes time and a lot of patience, which is what we do here day after day. The market can be quite crowded, especially when new stock arrives or when orders need to go out. We have been part of this neighborhood for some time now. It is a very practical sort of place, not much for show but a lot of work gets finished here. Sometimes the heat in Dharavi makes things a bit tough, but we just keep the fans going and stay busy with the needles and thread. Most people who come to Sayaji Market know the way to our gala. It is just a regular workplace where we try to get things right. We don't have a big corporate team or anything like that, just some local folks who know how to handle embroidery work. Every day is pretty much the same routine of checking patterns and making sure the machines are running okay. It is hard work, but it is what we know.
