Our office is situated on JSS Road, which is right in the middle of the Chira Bazar area. If you know South Mumbai, you know how crowded and loud this place can get during the day. It’s a very old part of town with a lot of history in the buildings. We are close to Charni Road station, so that makes it easier for us to get to work without dealing with the car traffic too much. The street outside is always full of people selling things, and there’s a constant noise of taxis honking. Inside, we just have our desks and computers set up to handle the business. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons, so we keep the windows shut against the dust. Most of the people around here have been running shops for generations. We fit in because we just do our work and don’t make much of a fuss. The building itself has those old wooden stairs that creak a bit when you walk up. It’s not the kind of place where you’ll find fancy carpets. We keep things simple and practical because that’s what works for us in this neighborhood. Usually, we grab lunch from one of the small places nearby. There isn't much space to move around, but we’ve managed to organize the files so we can find what we need. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai 400 002.
