Emerald Marine Services P Ltd

We’ve got our office for Emerald Marine Services P Ltd tucked away in Shastri Nagar, specifically on Century Bazar Lane over in the Prabhadevi area of Worli. It’s a busy part of Mumbai, so there’s always something going on outside our door. We’ve been operating from this spot for quite some time now, mostly handling the maritime side of things. It’s not a large place. We have desks piled with papers and some old maps on the walls that have been there since the previous owner left. Sometimes the traffic in Worli makes it hard for us to get to the docks on time, but that’s just life in the city. We don’t do anything too fancy here. It’s mostly logistics and making sure the boats and their crews have what they need when they come into port. The air gets a bit salty being this close to the water, which is something you just get used to. We have a small group of people working here, and most of us have been in the shipping business for years. We aren’t really interested in being some big global firm. We just want to make sure the work gets done right for the people who rely on us. It’s a lot of phone calls and checking schedules, but we enjoy the pace and the everyday challenges of the sea.
