We’ve been running Embin Technologies Pvt Ltd from Room No. 5 in Shanti Nagar Society for a good while now. It’s located in Ketkipada, right near the Dahisar checknaka. If you know Mumbai, you know how busy this area gets with all the trucks and traffic. Our office isn't one of those fancy glass towers you see in the city. It’s a simple, practical room where we get our work done. We usually start quite early to beat the worst of the heat and the noise from the road. There are just a few of us here. We spend our days mostly looking at screens and talking through various technical problems. We don’t have a receptionist or a big lobby with sofas. Just some desks, a lot of tangled wires, and a small area to make some tea. We focus on getting the tasks finished instead of talking about big goals. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, but we just deal with it. It’s a local operation and we like it that way. We know the shopkeepers nearby and often grab a snack from the corner stall. It’s an honest way to work. We don’t have any polished marketing speeches to give. We just show up every day, do the jobs that our clients need, and then head home through the Dahisar traffic like everyone else. It’s a bit cramped sometimes, but we make it work just fine.
