Our shop is at 32-Ab in the Government Industrial Estate over in Kandivli West. It’s right in the middle of all the other industrial units, so it’s always a bit noisy around here with trucks and machinery going all day long. We deal with all kinds of electronic components, mostly small parts that people need for repairs or building things. The shelves are pretty packed with resistors, capacitors, and all sorts of bits and pieces that we’ve collected over the years. It’s not the most organized looking place if you’re just walking in, but we usually know exactly which drawer holds what. We’ve been in this Kandivli spot for a long time now. People from the nearby units often stop by when they’re missing a specific part for a machine they’re working on. It’s a practical kind of place. We don’t have any big showrooms or anything like that, just a counter and a lot of storage in the back. The air in the industrial estate usually smells like metal and oil, which is just part of the job. We start early in the morning before the traffic gets too bad in Kandivli West. Most of our day is just spent counting parts and checking inventory lists to see what we need to get more of. It’s steady work and we like being part of the local industrial community here. Nothing fancy, just us and a lot of electronics. We have some old metal cabinets that have been here since the start. They squeak when you open them, but they hold everything we need. Sometimes customers bring in old gadgets hoping we have a part from twenty years ago, and occasionally we actually do. It's those little moments that make the day interesting. We don't bother with much advertising because people in the estate already know we are here.
