Elar Cards

Elar Cards is based in the Elar Building at 524, Senapati Bapat Marg. Being right here in Dadar means there is almost never a quiet moment outside the door. The building itself has been here for a long time and we have occupied our floor for many years. There is a lot of walking back and forth between the printing area and the storage rooms. We handle a massive amount of paper every single day. The smell of the printing ink is something you just get used to after working here for a week. Most of the time we are busy packing up cardboard boxes or checking the fine details on a new batch of wedding cards. It is a bit of a maze inside with all the stacks of heavy cardstock everywhere. We try to keep things organized but when we get busy, things tend to pile up on the work tables. The windows look out onto the main road, so you can always see the traffic and the trains passing by. It is a central spot which really helps when people need to come and pick up their orders in a hurry. We do not do much in the way of decoration in the office, it is mostly just metal desks and heavy machines. We have a small crew and everyone just gets on with their own tasks. It is honest work, making sure people have what they need for their events. We keep a steady pace and stay focused.
