Being on the sixth floor helps a bit with the sound, though. The building is one of those typical cooperative housing society structures that you see all over Parelmumbaimumbai City. We chose this spot because it is central and easy for us to reach. It is not a fancy corporate park, just a regular building where people live and work. We have a few desks set up in the room and that is about it. We do not spend much on decorations or fancy furniture. The focus is always on the work we have to do. Every morning we take the lift up, which can be a bit slow during the rush hour when everyone is trying to get to their floor. We have been here for a bit and the staff has gotten used to the local rhythm of the neighborhood. There are some good food stalls downstairs if you get hungry. We like the practicality of being in this part of the city. It feels like we are right in the middle of everything without the extra costs.
