Durga Auto Garage

Durga Auto Garage is tucked away at 144 Dharavi, inside the Ashok Silk Mills Compound. If you know the area, you know it’s always busy and there’s a lot of movement every single day. We’ve been operating out of this spot for a good while, dealing with all sorts of vehicles that come through the gates. It’s a dusty place, like any real garage, and there is always the smell of oil and old parts around. We spend our mornings opening up and getting straight into the repairs. The compound itself has its own rhythm with other businesses nearby, so it’s never really quiet. We don’t have a fancy waiting room or anything like that. People just bring their cars or bikes, and we look at what’s wrong. It’s honest work and it keeps us busy from morning until late evening. Dharavi is a place where everyone is working hard, and we are just a part of that. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded with all the parts lying around, but we know where everything is. It might take a minute to find us if it's your first time in the silk mills compound, but once you’re here, you’ll see we are just a group of people who know how to handle an engine. We don’t bother with big ads; the work usually speaks for itself among the locals who live and work around here.
