You will find us over at A-21 in Mazgaon Daskroi. We are situated near the Kothari Godown, which is a big landmark in this industrial part of town. Working with steel and alloys is heavy work, and our days are filled with the sound of metal moving and trucks coming in and out. The area is quite industrial, so it’s not exactly a quiet or pretty place to be, but it is where the work happens. We spend a lot of time in the yard or the warehouse area, making sure the inventory is where it should be. It gets pretty hot during the summer months, especially with all the metal around, but we just get on with it. We handle a lot of different types of alloys, and keeping them all sorted is a job in itself. Our office is just a small part of the whole operation, mostly used for keeping the ledger books and the delivery notes in order. We don't have a big marketing department or any glossy brochures. We just talk to the people who need material and make sure it gets loaded onto the trucks. Being near the Kothari Godown means there is always a lot of heavy traffic on the road, so we have to be careful when moving things around. It’s a rough and ready kind of environment, but it is what we know. We just focus on the daily tally.
