Dss Olympus is run by Abin Abraham and we are based at Alunkal House in Valavoor, which is in the Kottayam district of Kerala. Being out here in Kerala, the surroundings are a bit greener and quieter than the big cities. We operate mostly from this local address. It’s not a big corporate office building, it’s just where we work from every day. We’ve been doing this for some time now and most people in the local Valavoor area know where to find us. We don't have a fancy reception desk or a bunch of assistants. If you come by, you’ll probably just see us working on whatever projects are currently on the table. The pace here is a bit different than in places like Cochin or Bangalore. We take our time to make sure things are done right. We don't really do much in the way of advertising. Most of our work comes from people we know or locals who have heard about us. Sometimes the monsoon rain makes things a bit difficult, but we just keep at it. We try to keep things straightforward and honest. There’s no big mission statement here. We just show up, do the work, and try to make a decent living. It’s a simple setup and that’s how we like to keep it. We’re just local people doing our bit in Kottayam. We use simple tools and work at our own speed.
