Dkte S Textile Engineering Institute is located at 6 268 Mangalwar Peth, right on Vadinge Galli. We are in Ichalkaranji, which is in the Kolhapur district. This town is known for its textiles, so we are definitely in the right place. Our building is right in the middle of a busy street. It is an older area with a lot of local history. We have been here for quite some time, focusing on the textile side of things. It is not a polished campus like you might see in a movie. It is a practical place where people come to learn and work. There are machines, books, and lots of fabric samples everywhere you look. Mangalwar Peth is always full of activity. You can hear the looms in the distance sometimes. We do not have any fancy mission statements on the walls. We just have schedules and technical drawings. The staff here knows their stuff because they have been doing it for years. It is a very down-to-earth environment. We are not trying to be a corporate giant. We are just an institute that cares about the local textile trade. People from all over Kolhapur come here. We drink a lot of tea and talk about the industry. It is a bit messy sometimes, with papers piled up and people rushing around, but that is how a real place of learning looks.
