Our office is tucked away in the Nav Vivek Industrial Estate over in Mahim. If you know Mogal Lane, you know it can get pretty crowded with all the small units and workshops around here. We are in room 101. It’s an old building, but it does the job for what we need to do. Every morning the sound of the machines starting up across the estate is like an alarm clock. We do manufacturing here, mostly focusing on the day-to-day production side of things. It’s not a glamorous place with glass walls or shiny floors. There are boxes stacked up in the corners and the smell of metal and oil is just part of the air we breathe. We spend a lot of time on our feet, checking the output and making sure everything is running okay. The commute to Mahim can be a bit of a headache with the traffic, but once you’re inside the estate, it’s like its own little world. We’ve been here for a while, so we know the chai wallah and the other business owners nearby. Sometimes we sit out in the corridor for a break when things get too loud inside. It’s hard work, and the space is a bit tight, but we manage to get everything out on time. We don't spend much on decorating the place because the work is what matters most to us at the end of the day.
