Dinesh Namdeo

Our spot is in Thakur Village, over in Kandivali East. The address is Emp-43/204. It’s a pretty standard Mumbai apartment complex. Dinesh has been here for quite some time now. The building is always full of life. You hear kids playing outside and neighbors talking in the hallways. We have a small setup inside. It’s mostly just desks and some shelving for all our equipment. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. It’s functional. We wake up, have some breakfast, and then get right to it. The area is nice because everything is close by. If we need something, we just walk down the street. It saves a lot of time. We don't have a big sign or anything. People usually just know where to find us. Sometimes the monsoon rains make things a bit difficult, but we manage. We keep a few umbrellas by the door. The work we do keeps us busy from morning till evening. There isn't much room for idling around. We like the rhythm of it. It’s a local operation, through and through. Nothing fancy, just plain old work. We've lived in Mumbai long enough to know how to keep things moving. This is where we belong. We just take it one day at a time. That’s the way it goes for us.
