I have been doing photography for years now. My studio is right here in Kandivali West, specifically in Bharda Wadi at Flat No 3. It is on the ground floor of the A wing, which makes it easy for people to bring their kids or elderly parents for photos. They don't have to climb any stairs. I have got my backdrops set up and some lights that I have had since I started. It gets a bit crowded when a whole family shows up for a portrait, but we manage. Most days I am just here editing photos on my computer or waiting for someone who needs a quick photo for a form. The light in the ground floor isn't always great, so I rely on my lamps quite a bit. Living and working in the same area has its benefits. I know the neighbors well. Sometimes they just pop their head in to say hello. It's not a big corporate studio, just a small space where I can do my work and keep my gear safe. I like the local feel of this part of Mumbai. It can be noisy outside with the traffic, but inside it is my own world of pictures. I focus on getting the shot right so people are happy when they see themselves. It keeps me busy enough. It is a humble place but it serves the neighborhood well for all their picture needs.
