Dilip Teli

Our place is tucked away in the Minerva Industrial Estate over in Ghatkopar West. It’s Room No 16, and if you know P K Road, you know it can get pretty packed with trucks and deliveries. It’s an industrial area, so there is always the sound of machines or someone shouting instructions nearby. It isn’t the quietest place to work, but it suits what I do. Being Dilip Teli in such a busy estate means there is always someone popping in to ask a question or check on an order. The room is filled with stuff, tools, and materials, and it might look a bit messy to an outsider, but I know where everything is. I usually spend most of my hours here, often staying late if there’s a lot to finish up. Ghatkopar has changed a lot, but this estate still feels like the old-school working heart of the area. I don’t have a big staff or fancy office furniture. It’s just a practical space where work gets done. Sometimes the heat in the estate gets a bit much, but we have a fan that does its best. I like being part of this local network of businesses where everyone knows each other’s names. You don’t need a polished front when you are doing real work on the ground. It’s just about getting through the day’s tasks and making sure the people who come to Room 16 get what they need.
