Dikams Jewels

We are based at 6, Nikhil Building, which is on R.A. Kidwai Road in Wadala. It is a lively area with plenty of people moving around at all hours. Our space is not very large, but we have managed to fit everything we need into it over the years. We have some sturdy desks and a couple of old cabinets where we keep our tools and materials. The building itself has some character, though it shows its age in places like the stairwell and the entrance. We don't have a big sign out front, just a small one that lets people know they’ve reached the right spot. Most of our day is spent working with our hands. It’s quiet inside, even with the traffic noise from the road outside. We have a small window that looks out onto a side alley, and sometimes we see the local kids playing there. We aren't trying to be a high-end boutique with marble floors. This is a workspace first and foremost. We usually have a radio playing softly in the background to keep things from being too silent. People from the neighborhood often stop by just to say hello or to ask a quick question. It’s a comfortable routine we have built here. We focus on the tasks at hand and try to make sure every piece that leaves here is done right. It's just a regular local spot.
