Our office is located in Vile Parle West, specifically at H/78 in Kalimata Chawl within Nehru Nagar. It’s right off VM Road. If you know Mumbai, you know this area is always moving. We are Diebold Software Services. People think software offices are all shiny and new, but we are in a more traditional spot. It’s a bit of a tight space in the chawl, but it’s where we do our coding and service work. We’ve got our computers set up and we spend most of the day staring at them. It can get pretty hot in the summer, but we have fans going. It’s a very local feel here. We know the neighbors and the people selling tea outside. We aren't some big tech giant with a campus. We are just a team working out of a room in Nehru Nagar. Sometimes the rain makes it a bit tricky to get to the office, but that’s just life in Mumbai. We don’t have a fancy sign or anything. We just focus on the software tasks we have for the day. It’s a humble place to work, but it gets the job done. We like the honesty of the neighborhood. Everyone is working hard at something. We just happen to be working on software. It’s a practical setup and we’ve been here for a good while now. We try to keep things simple and just focus on the code.
