Diamondstar Mfg. (I) P. Ltd. is located in the Panchratna building at Opera House, right on the 8th floor in suite 804. This building is famous for this kind of work, so we’re surrounded by people doing the exact same thing as us. It’s a high-rise, so the view of the street below is actually pretty interesting, especially when the traffic is backed up. Inside our space, it’s mostly about the benches and the tools. We don't have a fancy lobby or anything like that. When you walk in, you’re pretty much right in the middle of where the work happens. The guys are usually hunched over their desks, focused on the stones. It’s a quiet environment because you need concentration, but there’s always a bit of chatter during the breaks. We have been in this spot for a while now, and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it’s a good place to work. We don't worry too much about the decor. The main thing is just getting the manufacturing right and making sure the counts are correct at the end of the day. It’s a lot of responsibility, but we’re used to it by now. We just take it one day at a time, handling the orders as they come in and trying to stay out of the rain during monsoon season while making sure the office stays dry.
