Diamond Queen bar & restaurant is at 694 N.M Joshi marg. We are right near the railway station in Byculla. If you are looking for us, we are right across from the old Khatau mill. Mumbai is a fast city and Byculla is no different. The 400027 area is always humming with noise. Being so close to the station means we get a lot of people who are just finishing work or waiting for a train. The bar and the restaurant stay pretty active in the evenings. It can get quite loud with everyone talking at once. We have been at this Byculla location for a long time. The building shows its age a bit but we keep it going. It’s a real local spot where you see the same characters every week. We don't have any polished corporate rules. It’s just us running the place as best as we can. The Khatau mill landmark is how most people find their way here. We deal with the usual Mumbai things like the heavy rains and the crowded footpaths. Inside, it’s just a place to have a drink and some food. We don't try to be anything we aren't. It’s a simple business on N.M Joshi marg. We just open the shutters in the morning and close them late at night. That is the daily life for us here. We don't worry about being fancy, we just do the work and keep things moving.
