Down at Opera House, things are always moving fast. Diamond Gem Laboratories Of America is located at Po 304 in that area. It’s a place where everyone seems to be in a hurry, but inside our space, we try to keep things a bit more steady. The lighting has to be just right for what we do, so we have these bright lamps all over the desks. It makes the room quite warm in the summer. We’ve been at this address for a long time and the building has a lot of history to it. You can hear the city noise from the street below even when the windows are shut tight. We don't spend money on fancy rugs or expensive furniture. Our benches are old wood and they have marks from years of use. It is a workspace first and foremost. Usually, it’s just a few of us here. We grab coffee from the guy across the street most mornings. People come in with questions and we do our best to answer them based on what we see. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just a honest day's work in a part of town that never really sleeps. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up, so we end up taking the stairs. It’s just part of being in an older building in this district.
