Dia Jewel

Dia Jewel is up on the third floor of Aman Chambers. Being on Maharshi Karve Road means we are right in the middle of a lot of activity. The building is quite well-known around here. Our space is in 3-B, and it’s mostly filled with desks and some secure storage. Dealing with jewelry means we have to be careful, so the doors are usually kept locked. It’s not a place with big glass windows showing off diamonds to people walking by. It’s more of a professional setup for handling the pieces. We spend a lot of time looking through loupes or checking certificates. The light coming through the windows is good in the morning. We’ve been in Aman Chambers for a while and we know the other people on our floor. It’s a bit of a climb if the lift is busy, but you get used to it. We don’t have any fancy music playing or anything like that. It’s just the sound of people talking on the phones and the occasional click of a safe. We keep things very low-key. Most of our work is done with regulars who have been coming to us for years. It’s a quiet, serious kind of place where we just focus on the stones and the settings without much distraction. We usually close up right on time because the building gets very quiet after dark. It’s just a regular office routine in a busy part of town, really. There is no need for anything more complicated than that.
