Dhriti Enterprises is based in the Fort area, specifically at Shop No. 4 in Jaswanti Niwas on Modi Street. If you know the Agiary Lane area, you know how packed and busy it gets every single day. We are right in the middle of all that old Mumbai charm. The building we are in is quite old, and the hallways are narrow. Our shop is small but we make the most of the space we have. Most of our day is spent dealing with paperwork and taking orders from people who need supplies in this part of town. It’s not a glamorous job. We spend a lot of time checking our inventory and making sure we have enough stock in the back room. The streets outside are always full of people rushing somewhere, so it’s never quiet here. We get our tea from the stall around the corner, and the afternoon sun hits the front window in a way that makes it really warm inside. We don't have a big marketing plan or a corporate office. It is just us in this small room, working through our tasks one by one. Sometimes the deliveries are late because of the traffic in Fort, but we’ve learned to be patient with it. We’ve been at this location for some years now and we like the history of the neighborhood. It’s a practical place for a practical business, and we just keep doing our thing every day.
