Dhoom Plus

You can find Dhoom Plus at 107/111 in the C.P. Tank area. This part of the city is always crowded and noisy, which is fine by me. We’ve been here for a good amount of time, selling various mobile accessories and small electronics. The shop is small and we’ve got shelves packed all the way to the ceiling. You have to know exactly where everything is or you’ll never find it. I usually stand near the front so I can talk to people passing by. It’s a very old building, so the walls are thick and the ceiling is high. We get all kinds of customers here, from tourists lost in the market to regulars who have lived here for decades. I handle most of the sales myself. Sometimes it gets overwhelming when five people want things at once. I just tell them to wait a minute while I finish up. There’s a lot of competition on this street, but we just focus on what we’re doing. We don’t have a big marketing plan. We just open the shutters in the morning and see who comes in. It’s a busy, messy, and loud way to live, but I wouldn’t have it any other way. C.P. Tank has a spirit you don’t find elsewhere. The air is always thick with the sound of horns and shouting vendors. We just keep our heads down and serve the people who walk through our door.
