Dewan centre hall

This hall is part of the Dewan Centre on S V Road in Jogeshwari West. It's located in the A-Tower. We’ve had all sorts of things happen here, from small family gatherings to local meetings. The space is basically a big room that people rent out when they need a roof over their heads for an event. It's not a palace, but it has enough lights and fans to keep everyone comfortable enough. Being on S V Road means it is easy for people to get here by train or rickshaw. I manage the bookings and make sure the place is swept before the next group arrives. Sometimes the elevator in the building acts up and we have to tell people to take the stairs, but we usually get it sorted eventually. There’s a lot of noise from the street outside because Jogeshwari is always busy with traffic and people moving around. The hall has been here for years, and most of the locals know the Dewan Centre well. We don't provide fancy decorations or anything like that. You just get the space and then you can do what you want with it. It’s practical and simple. Some days it is empty and quiet, other days it is packed with people talking and laughing. We just keep the keys and make sure the doors are locked at night. It’s a simple business for a busy part of town and we like it that way. No fuss.
