Devtej India Private Limited is based in Ghatkopar West, right on LBS Marg. Our office is B/43 in the CIBA CHS building, which is part of the Amrut Nagar area. If you’ve ever been on LBS Marg, you know how loud and busy it gets with all the trucks and rickshaws going past. Our building, Dwarka, is a bit of a sanctuary from all that noise, though you can still hear the horns honking in the distance. We’ve been here for some time now, and we’ve gotten to know the security guards and the local shopkeepers pretty well. The office itself is quite functional. We have a few rooms filled with desks and a lot of paperwork that seems to pile up no matter how much we file away. It’s a typical Mumbai office space—no room is wasted. We usually arrive around 9:30 or 10, depending on the train schedule, and stay until the work is finished. There’s a small canteen nearby that makes great vada pav, which is basically our fuel during the late afternoon. We don’t have a marketing department or anyone to write fancy speeches. It’s just us, working on our tasks and making sure the bills are paid. It’s a grounded place to work, and we like being part of the Ghatkopar community.
