Devlopment Credit Bank

We are down here at the Worli Police Camp, specifically in the Bn C building, room 7. It is right on Sarpochkhanawala Road in Mumbai 30. We have been operating this branch for a good bit now, mostly helping folks who live around the camp or work nearby with their money matters. It is not a very fancy place, just a regular office where we sit and talk to people about their accounts and loans. Sometimes the fans make a bit of noise, but we get the work done. The area around the police camp is always busy, so there is usually a line of people waiting outside in the mornings. We try to move things along quickly but sometimes the paperwork takes its own time. My desk is near the window, and I can see the traffic moving on the road all day. We deal with all sorts of things, from small savings to bigger credit needs. It is mostly just about keeping records straight and making sure everyone gets what they came for. Most of the people who come in are our neighbors, so we know them by name. It makes the day go by a bit faster when you can chat a little while you work. We do not have any big slogans or anything. We just open the doors at the usual time and stay until the ledgers are finished for the day. That is basically how things go here in Worli.
