We have our desks set up and everyone knows their place. It gets quite loud outside with the vendors and the traffic, but you get used to it after a week or two. Most of the people who come to see us are doing business in the local markets. We handle the transactions and keep the books straight. There isn't any fancy lobby or anything like that. It's just a functional office where the work gets done. We drink a lot of tea to keep going through the afternoon slump. Sometimes the rain makes things a bit messy around the entrance, but we just mop it up and keep moving. It’s a busy life here in Mumbai. We’re just one small part of the big machine that keeps the city running every single day. We stay until the last ledger is balanced for the night and the shutters come down on the street.
