We have been operating out of unit 401 in Sobhana Apartment for quite some time now. Chandawarkar Lane is a decent enough spot in Borivali West, though the traffic on the way in can be a real headache most mornings. Usually, someone is at the office by nine, ready to start the day. The space isn’t very large, but it works for what we do at Devaraj Enterprises Pvt. Ltd. Most of our time is spent on the phone or dealing with piles of paperwork that seem to grow every week. Sometimes the lift in the building stops working, so we have to take the stairs, which isn’t great for our knees. We’ve gotten to know the neighbors in the building fairly well over the years. There is a small tea stall downstairs where we usually grab a quick break when the afternoon gets slow. There isn’t anything fancy about how we run things here. We just show up, do the work, and try to keep things moving along. Borivali is a loud and busy area, but our little corner on this lane stays relatively calm compared to the main roads. We have a few filing cabinets that have seen better days and the desks are a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is kept. It’s just a steady routine for us. We don’t do big presentations or anything like that. It is just us working through our tasks every day.
