Our place is inside Birla Mansion No.2 on Dr D D Sathe Marg. If you know the Prarthana Samaj area in Mumbai, you know it gets quite crowded during the day. We have been working from this office for a while now. The building is one of those older structures that has seen a lot of history over the decades. Being near Harkishandas Hospital means there are always people walking around and plenty of taxis honking on the road. Sometimes the noise from the street comes right through the windows, but you get used to it after a week. Inside, it is just a normal workspace with desks and some filing cabinets. We do our daily tasks here and try to keep things organized as much as possible. The entrance to the mansion can be a bit tricky to find if you are coming for the first time because of the shops on the ground floor. Most people just use the hospital as a landmark to get their bearings. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. We don't have fancy furniture or a big lobby. It is just a practical spot where we get our work done. The neighborhood has a lot of small eateries where we grab tea in the afternoons. It is a busy life here in 400004. We just show up every morning, open the shutters, and start the day's work like everyone else on this street.
