Dev Technoskills

You can find us at the Hillview Industrial Estate in Ghatkopar East. We are in unit 413. Being in an industrial estate means there is always something going on around us. There are trucks moving in and out and the sound of machinery from the other units. Dev Technoskills is our little corner in this big complex. It’s a functional space. We have some benches for training and some equipment for the hands-on stuff. It’s not a luxury office with carpets. It’s more of a place where you don't mind getting your hands a little dirty. The stairs up to the fourth floor are a bit steep, but they keep us fit. We started this because we saw a need for real skills in the area. We don't have a marketing department. Most people find us because they work in the estate or live nearby in Ghatkopar. The lighting inside is those long fluorescent tubes, which aren't the prettiest but they work for what we do. We drink a lot of chai during the day. It’s a very practical environment. We don't talk in corporate jargon. We just show people how to use the tools and do the job right. It’s been a few years now and we’re still here, doing the same thing day in and day out. We just want to help people get better at their jobs without making it complicated.
