Dev Alloys

Dev Alloys is located at 7 Parsiwada Lane, on Pottery Road. We are on the first floor of the Taldhwaj Bhuvan building. This area is quite industrial, which makes sense for what we do. We deal with alloys and metals. It’s a lot of weighing things and checking the quality of the materials coming in. The office is usually dusty no matter how much we clean it because of the nature of the work. There are always trucks moving around outside. We’ve been in this spot for several years now. The floor is concrete and we have heavy racks for all the samples. It’s not a place where you’d find fancy decorations. We just have the necessary tools and a few desks for the billing and orders. Most of our customers are from the nearby workshops or factories. They know where we are. We don't spend money on advertising because the work speaks for itself. If someone needs a specific type of metal, they just call and ask if we have it in stock. Sometimes we have to go out to the warehouse to check the piles ourselves. It’s physical work and it can get hot in the summer. We keep the fans running all day. It’s a simple business. We buy, we store, and we sell. There’s nothing complicated about it, just long hours and a lot of heavy lifting. That's how we spend our days.
